Samsung galaxy q

[Android Question]

my samsung galaxy wont turn on i turned it off and tried turning it back on because the apps were being glitchy and now when it turns on it only stays at the samsung screen
someone please help!
also i dont wish to reset the whole phone because i have a lot of important things on there that i might never get back.
if anyone knows what to do please help!

Hi and welcome to the Android Forums!

How long are you leaving it at the screen it's getting stuck on? I suggest you do a battery pull and let it boot to that point and seriously, give it 20-30 minutes to see if it can get itself back to functioning.
