Root Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4g Development

I cant seem to find much on my phone. Is there any clean (vanilla) ICS roms that are compatible with this phone? I know theres a way to root but I dont see much development on the ROMS. This is a great phone why is dev so slow? And also, there is no date yet but we will have an ICS update, should I wait for that before I try and root my device?
