Samsung galaxy s ii notifications sound

Hello,

I downloaded the Zedge application and downloaded some ringtones and notification sounds.
Once I've downloaded them I specify Zedge how will I use it (either as a rigntone or for notifications).
But I've noticed the following problem:
If I download a ringtone, it works perfectly.
but if I download a notification sound it doesn't work. I mean the notification sounds when I turn on the Bluetooth, but it doesn't work when I receive a SMS/MMS, and the old notification sound keeps on working as active.

Any of the downloaded notifications are shown on either the ringtone list or the notifications sound list.

DOes someone know how to help me?

Thanks in advance. :)

The sound used in the Standard Messaging app (messaging, settings, select ringtone) is independent of the one you set in home, Settings, Sound, notification ring tones that is used by most other apps. If you want them to be the same you have to set these 2 settings to pick the same file, so go to the menu setting above within messaging and set it to the same file.

Mine I have set differently, with Messaging using Austin Powers while the standard notification (calendar, system notifications etc,) is a squeaky toy noise I also got from Zedge. So it is behaving exactly the way you describe which is standard. The main settings are the default, but apps are free to organise their own pick list or settings.
