Help Samsung galaxy S messaging very slow

Hey Guys,

I use a Samsung Galaxy S phone and am seeing considerable problems with the touch response particularly during messaging.Am seeing severe lag issues while i type a message. Either incorrect characters get typed or some characters get missed altogether, though i type them. The touch response is sucking big time , while messaging. Do any of you know what the issue is and how it can be fixed.

Hello and welcome to Android Forums.

Have you tried clearing the cache on your device? This could be the cause of lag and after clearing the cache and doing a normal reset should speed up your device.

And while you're at it, clear out some of your old messages to free up system memory.
