Samsung Galaxy S original work on Sprint?

My brother wanted me to add him to my Sprint Family plan and he went ahead and bought himself a used Galaxy S for $90 from his friends dad(Good price I say) but every where I read it says the that the original Galaxy S is only GSM and not CDMA. Is there anyway to get the phone to work on Sprint or he my brother going to have to return the phone?

That phone will not work on Sprint.... period.

Yea.. You need the Epic 4G, one of the original Galaxy S variants.
