Help Samsung Galaxy S Weird Ring/Alarm

Hello all, I hope you all well.

Let me introduce myself, my name is Roy. I have a problem. Here is my case. When I turned on my Galaxy S, my phone ask me PIN to unlock my sim card but I left it a bit to go to the bathroom, but when I came back, my Galaxy ringing like crazy and I cannot turned it off, so I panicked and removed the battery, does anybody have the same problem?

But when I turned on my Galaxy and insert the pin to unlock my sim card and pin to unlock my Galaxy (right away), "that" ringing thing/alarm didn't occur. Strange right? Can anybody explain what happened?

I think that the phone thinks that it's been stolen because you've taken too long to input the sim code, so it's telling everyone within earshot that you are a crook. lol.

If that so, that one hell of cool feature. I thought I broke my Galaxy since I heavily modify it. Hahahaha.
