Samsung galaxy S111

Hi, Please could I ask a question. I have a Samsung Galaxy S111 I have a T.Mobile sim card in it. I bought this phone from a friend, it's supposed to be open to any network, it has worked fine but every now and again it stops working and I get this message. The message says.
"Sim card removed,The mobile network will be unavailable until you restart with a valid sim card inserted"

Now the only thing I can think of is the sim card I have in the Galaxy S111 is a Nano sim, it's out of my Iphone 5 but the Nano sim is in a adapter to make it the correct fit for the Galaxy S111, so would this be the problem, maybe the Nano card is not sitting correctly in the adapter and not fitting in the sim port as it should, maybe it's moving around and causing this problem.

Any help would be appreciated, Thank you

Get a replacement micro-sim. Not sure about T.Mobile but with "Three" - you can just walk into a shop, get a new sim and have it activated over the phone.
