samsung galaxy S2 not connected to laptop using Kies

Sir,
When I tried to connect my Samsung Galaxy S2 to my Window7 laptop using Kies, the phone is not connected for following reasons-
1. CDC Abstract Control Model ( ACM ) - device unplugged, and
2.Samsung Mobile MTP device- failed.

Please advise,
