Samsung Galaxy S3 Battery

Is my samsung galaxy s3 at risk if i were to use a fake battery in it for a short period of three weeks until i get an original one?

Check the voltage on the battery. If the voltage is to high it could cause some damage, if not it should be fine for a few weeks. I'd still get an official battery as soon as possible if I were you. You can pick them up cheap on Amazon.

I'm getting a bit confused with the ones on amazon...it's difficult to know which of them are original and which are not :/
Could you advise me one please?

Forget that last one. Looking at the reviews it seems it is not so genuine, but it looks exactly like an official one.

You may be better off getting one from a high street store. They may cost a little more, but not much more. You get what you pay for.

Samsung doesn't sell their batteries on Amazon or eBay, so anything labeled as "original" or "genuine" in there will be fake, and often even a smaller capacity battery with a fake label. You have to buy from trusted brands like Anker or Ravpower who quality check their products and offer an extended warranty.

Yeah but the anker batteries imply more thickness :/
I wanna stick to the samsung 2100 mAh battery which is out of stock right now. So, i was wondering if i could use a substitute until i get an original one?
