samsung galaxy s3 battrry drain?

I got my phone exactly a week ago and im not sure what the normal battery life is for this phone. So far I noticed it could be much better. Heres the settings on my phone: brightness dimmed, nfc off, background data restricted, WiFi on and 4g off when not in use, and using juice defender plus. I use the phone moderately but check facebook once in a while and I use internet occasionally. I do not stream videos at all. I am a heavy texter though. Yesterday I tracked my battery drain and it was about 10% an hour at the most when using the phone. When not in use it was about 4% an hour. It lasted 9 hours yesterday. Today my phone lost about 2% when not in use but about 5% when in use lightly. So my question is, is my battery normal? What is the average battery life and drain for this phone? Will it take a few weeks for battery life to improve since I just got it? Thank you.

It took my S3 about a week for its battery to get up to speed hope this help

I also noticed that too. my sister has a gs3 also with tmobile and she said her battery is awesome but i got mine on Friday with sprint and it doesnt per say last like she says.
