my girlfriend threw her phone breaking the glass front screen and the lcd screen(?) and digitizer. I want to repair the phone but the parts I've found are too expensive. Any suggestions? It is an AT&T, 1747 model

Well that is very profound indeed, but I didn't think I was going to be versed in philosophy101. Is there a hidden message that is pertinent to the question that I posted? I just want to know if I can replace the parts cheaply enough to make it a smart choice or should I perhaps buy a new one and recycle this one.
