Samsung Galaxy S3 Volume Help!

Hi I was wondering if anyone who has the Galaxy S3 and also has a Galaxy Nexus can answer a few questions. I have a hard time hearing my Galaxy Nexus on the speaker phone as well as in calls. Does the volume from the SG3 sound louder than the Nexus in-call and speakerphone wise? Is it still a very low volume phone where you would need the volume + app just to be satisfied? From my experience Samsung phones always use under-powered speakers.Thanks guys!

All I can say is having used these phones in the past (iPhone 3G/3GS/4/HTC Sensation 4G compared to those this speaker is on par if not better. I find the speakers on the S3 to be very loud when wanted.
