Samsung Galaxy S5 colours

I pre-ordered an s5 last week. I want the blue or gold one but the agent told me that they will just be having the black and white at launch and the other colors are still indefinite. What do you think guys? Should I wait for the blue one(no definite date of availability) or go for the black? And for you, does the color an issue when you purchase a unit? Hope to hear your opinions.
 
I'm thinking that you could buy a black one and then later buy a replacement blue back for it.

^^^^ What Firewill said. When they first came out in colors I was super excited, especially when there was blue. But then after I thought a bit, I realized I'd definitely be getting a case to make this seemingly indestructible phone more indestructible (although if you look in the drop test in videos it doesn't do too well - it gets pretty dinged up in the corners). A case is a definite for me - which I can get in any color.
 
Back replacement is a good idea but the thing is, as far as I know, they didn't release a replacement cover for s4 before and thinking they might be doing it again with the s5. (Correct me if I'm wrong as I'm switching from iPhone to S5)

As for the case. I'm having the same thoughts also. I preordered because they will be giving away a free s view cover, samsung power bank and a car dock. The thing is it is strictly a black s view cover and knew that the case needs to be attached at the back
 
I have a funny feeling that gold may be reserved for asian markets, more specifically India, China and the Middle East. Aside from the 5s, gold phones aren't sought after in North America and Europe as they are in other markets.
 
Yes. I think so too. There's something in gold that makes it unique, specifically the gold bezel. I think it goes well with a black back cover. Torn between blue and gold. I hope someday they will release a back cover for s5 so users can go with different options
