The Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini's listing at the WiFi Certification was recently updated to show that the device runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow. This would indicate that Samsung is almost ready to send an update out to the old handset. New evidence shows the Samsung Galaxy J3 2016 will soon get Marshmallow as well, though this is not too surprising as the device was recently launched by AT&T and Verizon Wireless as budget options.
