Help Samsung Galaxy S5 Verizon to T-Mobile

Hello. My sister in law recently bought a new phone, but it's a Verizon Galaxy S5, which wouldnt be an issue but she uses T-Mobile as her provider.

Is it possible to use Odin to change the OS of the phone to the T-Mobile version of the OS and have it work properly with the T-Mobile network (update properly, etc.?)

I've used Odin before when I had to re-root my phone once, but I've never gone from one carrier's OS to another, and I have no idea if that's something that works.

You should only Odin firmware for your specific model. Flashing the wrong firmware can result in a hard brick. As long as it is unlocked( I think it is by default) it will work on Tmobile although certain features like tethering will not.

I believe Tmobile roms work but must be installed via Safetrap. Take a look at this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=61303113#post61303113 . Make sure to read carefully.
