I am currently puzzled on which of these two android devices to buy, what are your thoughts on which to buy?

Do you want a really large phone or not? For me the size difference is such a big factor that that would settle it, one way or another.
I'm not really sure, I used an S5 and it was pretty big.
The S6 is the same size as the S5, but the Nexus 6 is an inch larger. I would try them out in the store for awhile and see which one you like more.

I wish I could with the Nexus 6, but at my ATT store they don't carry it. So I'll have to order it, I think they have the Galaxy, so I'll probably decide by trying the Galaxy and if I don't like it, I'll go with the nexus. A pet peeve of mine is the speaker on the back, I'm usually used to it being at the bottom of the phone.
