Samsung Galaxy s7 Edge Sim Lock status

Hi Guys.

I'll be purchasing a Samsung Galaxy s7 edge from a Uk Samsung shop for full retail price.

Not attached to any contract.

1. Will the phone be open to all networks out of the box.
2. Will the phone lock to the first SIM card inserted.

1. Should be yep (but just ask them to confirm)
2. As far as i know no, there's a setting to lock the sim card on startup with a pin instead.

Main concern is that the phone does not lock to the first sim I insert and then I can't use another networks sim.

Some chatter on blogs speak of a carrier supplied unit locking but those that are bought sim free won't.

Yep that's usually the case, but mine is from the UK carrier Three on contract, all their phones come unlocked, their sim i'm using neither locks it to the phone.
