I have got a very weird problem with my galaxy s7. For months I connected it to my windows 7 computer, confirmed the dialogue about access control and managed my files on the device. Today, I did exactly the same, except for the last part.
Windows was reinstalling the device as "Unknown Device" and now I cannot do anything but charging. I already tried to delete the device, reinstalled the drivers etc. I also installed samsung smart switch application, which found the device for a couple of seconds. Whenever I tried to click one of the options (e.g. backup mail data), it lost connection until next connect.
Is there any known update or something like that which causes that behavior? I really cannot explain why this happens or why it did not happened ever before...
