Samsung Galaxy S8 Unlocked

I currently have the Samsung Galaxy S8 version SMG950F purchased FACTORY UNLOCKED at a retail store in the United States... It is GSM factory unlocked... But I miss the features of a LOCKED phone... Mainly WIFI CALLING.... If I flash this phone with the current TMobile ROM for this model... Will it Lock the phone to TMOBILE then? I'm currently using it with Metro PCS... Thanks

The SMG950F is the international version. Although it has the right frequencies to support a couple of US providers sims, it won't support their firmware. It has a complete different chipset. The international version is Exynos and all the American ones are Snapdragon. Flashing any American firmware onto it will result in a brick ;)

I was going to flash it with the international firmware for this exact phone... Im using it completely with TMobile right now. But if I flash it with the international TMobile firmware for that country .. Will it Lock it to that countries TMobile? That's my question.. Will it be an unlocked international TMobile Mobile device then? Or would it then lock to that country only

I don't think there is an international Tmobile anymore. Over here in England Tmobile joined with Orange to make EE. That phone will however be able to be flashed with any other SMG950F firmware and work fine. It wouldn't lock it to whatever carrier you flashed. I could flash Vodafone to my EE S8 and I could still use EE. Just be sure you're flashing the 950F firmware though :)
