There was a deal on Woot on Black Friday for $319 for a refurbished one.
The cheapest Refurb now is $350. You are possibly buying someone elses problem. My has no issues and has been updated to Android 3.2.

Refurbished is essentially new without the new tag I believe. Good luck selling then.

The cheapest I see now is $389 with a 90 day warranty.
Refurbished is not new just as a certified pre owned car is not new.
These are going for around $400 on EBay. I am including the bulking case which is normally $40.
