Samsung Galaxy2 - Voice breaking off

I am having an issue while talking on the phone. As soon as I connect and the other person replies, the phone breaks off for a second and am unable to hear what the person says. It happens especially when they are introducing themselves. It has started to happen from the last one week. Any clue?
