i have just got the new galaxy s 2 i was wondering how do i download apps without using the wireless on my phone?

Hello Tameika, and welcome to Android Forums.

If you want to download anything via data connection rather than wifi, assuming you have a data plan with a carrier, just go into the settings > wifi area and uncheck wifi. Be sure to have data and "background data" enabled/checked in that menu as well.

If I'm understanding you clearly - you want to download apps from the market without using your network connection? If yes, then your other choice would be to use WiFi connection.
