Help Samsung Gem how to disable Latitude app

I accidentally enabled the Latitude google app. Now my location is everywhere and draining my battery. When I go to Privacy and Turn Off Latitude nothing happens that I know of. When I click on Latitude it automatically "joins" me without the "warning" privacy acceptance notice. How can I disable permanently?

I think once you join you cant go back on it but you can go into settings and make it so it doesn't check you in anywhere. thats just what i did... and force close it. idk its suckie and i dont see the point in it.
