samsung gs2 wifi problem

i just brought my sgs2 a day ago and im trying to get on wifi but its not letting me
i go on to wireless and click wifi settings and press wifi and its saying error,
if you could help i would really appreciate it.

Hi, welcome to Android Forums.

Try powering down your Samsung Galaxy S2 phone. Remove the battery and then power the phone again. This usually helps the problem. If it does not, please repost your question.
