Help Samsung GT15800 Problem

My Samsung GT15800 wont turn on properly. It turned its self off for no reason, I turned it back on and I got the gt-15800 screen then the blue samsung animated screen but it wont go any further, all i get is the word samsung flashing at me. Is there anything I can do. Thanks for any help you can give.

You could try switching the phone off, then removing the battery for a few minutes, reinstall the battery and try switching on. If it wont switch off just remove the battery and then reinstall and switch on.

It turns off by itself? I thought I was the only one who had a problem...
So one day I'm in the car listening to music with a full battery - AND BAM! It turns itself off

I have an identical problem. Bought phone from Carphone Warehouse 2 days ago and will be returning it tomorrow for a refund. Was OK for first couple of hours then continually kept turning itself off despite battery being fully charged. Battery been removed a number of times to try to clear problem but still same issue. It will now only power up to the Samsung logo screen, then will not proceed any further. First Samsung phone I have bought. Will probably be the last after this episode.

has anyone found an answer to this yet as my phone is doing exactly the same and wont go past the flashing samsung screen
