samsung gti5800 apollo recovery mode probs!

RooTa

Lurker
hey there i was just wondering if anyone can help me??. im having probs with my galaxy apollo gti5800 unlocked simfree. but since i updated the software version on the phone, it was fine for a while, but now it trys to reboot but it goes back to recovery manual mode, and when i try pressing vol button& power n home button it goes to forced download mode, or if i pres vol up n home-power it says downloading with a sign saying do not turn off target!
any help will be much appreciated, i just need to know how to get it back on or if i need to flash different os?
thanx in advance
;-)

Vol-/Home/Power is download mode. If you then start downloading, you better not turn off the target (the phone) or you'll corrupt storage. But you can always reboot by holding the power button down.

Vol+/Home/Power is recovery mode.

Power, with nothing else, should bring you to the homescreen.

This is standard Samsung.

If it's rebooting by itself, try Safe Mode first. From power off, press the power button. When the Samsung logo appears, press and hold Vol- until "Safe Mode" appears in the lower left corner.

If that fixes the problem, one of your apps is misbehaving. (Safe mode boots normally, but doesn't load any pf the apps you've installed.)

If not, or if it's not trying to reboot by itself, but just won't boot properly since the update, bring it to the carrier and ask them to reflash it, since it seems that the update didn't install properly.

hey there mate, the phone when i take battery out and put it back in and power on, the phone starts up & loads the samsung logo, stays on for 20 secs then goes into android system recovery utils for BML
with 4 options
reboot now
apply sdcard :update.zip
wipe data/factory reset
wipe cache partition

#MANUAL MODE#

the reboot brings me back to recovery and factory reset ive done that aswell it reset in like under 1 minute then still brings me back to recovery manual mode

i cant even connect it via usb cos it connects then dissconnects!

could i not just flash it myself thru odin ? probably not since it wont connect to pc properly.
well thanx anyway ill just use it as a door stopper lol
good job ive an spare S4 lying about lol
