Samsung Infuse 4G- Data Retrieve

Hi All,

I have a Samsung Infuse 4g (Android) cell phone. Recently my son broke the screen. I was able to get the screen replaced. The phone comes on, battery still charges and I can see the menus etc. however it does not respond to the touch. I have tested it with 2 new screen, still the touch does not work. I have lots of photos and contacts in the phone, unfortunately I did not back it up. Also the phone does not has a SD card. Couple of questions:
1. Can the phone still be repaired?
2. Is there a way the data (contacts/photos etc.) can still be retrieved?

Try connecting it to computer with usb cable and see if you can see the files on pc inn file explorer

It should be no problem to retrieve the photos if you can connect to a computer. The images would be stored under the /DCIM folder. As for the rest, well… it is a 4 year old phone. The cost to repair would easily exceed the value of the device. How much is that contact data worth to you?
