Help Samsung J7 Prime SD card access

Hello, I purchased a J7 Prime recently. I have a problem related to SD card access. I learnt that it is not possible on Samsung phones to adopt an SD card.

However, I find that I am not able to see the SD card shown in storage or any other apps so that I can transfer some contents there. It appears though in 'File Manager' on my phone.

What could be the problem? I am running Marshmallow.

Actually some big apps like Facebook let you move the app and its data to SD card.

When you are viewing app info, click Storage to see if the option is available.

It works for my LG so it should also work for your Samsung as both of them don't allow adoptive storage.

Hello, as I said in my post, SD card does not appear in Storage or in Apps and hence unable to move anything there. When I open File Manager on my phone, I can see the SD card storage space.

Not all apps have this option, you should try the latest version of Facebook app, if you have the option to move the app to SD card then your card is fine.
