Help Samsung Kies Update (UK)

Optimisitically logged into Samsung Kies to check whether I could download Gingerbread to be told Kies had a new update. It's now 2.0.0.11044_11

Well, not Gingerbread but at least Kies seems to be updating

I did the same thing looking for Gingerbread and found the new Kies. It seems to be a totally new program which I welcome. Thought there might be some discussion about it here but haven't found it. I'm wondering why contacts synchronise but I can't see anything about calendar or tasks.
