I keep getting minus mail alert on the mail app (-1). How can I clear the email counter without deleting settings?
 
Welcome to Android Forums!

Your best bet here would be to clear the cache of the app. Go to settings -> applications -> email app and the button will be there. If that doesn't work, you will probably have to wipe the app's data as well.
