Didn't you already have the leaked version?
Yep. Ran the leaked version until just before Memorial day weekend. USB port was no longer recognizing anything other than my charger, so I couldn't do anything with ODIN. I never got CWM working properly, either. The phone in the last few days leading up to that weekend had begun doing very random and strange things, and I had not made any changes to it (other than apps here and there) for 4-6 weeks.
Was on the road for a project, and the phone rebooted itself randomly and came back up in airplane mode. It would not reboot out of airplane mode after that. I was 2 hours from home, had to have a phone, so I just factory wiped as a last resort. That got me on the radio again, so I could make calls. I took it in the next day and swapped it out. They wiped the phone and put the 2.2.1 stock update on it and gave it to me to use until the swap arrived.
As soon as I received my swap phone, I rooted it with S1C, but that's all I've done so far. I was waiting on the EE19 patch before I really started to play with it again.
Now I'm waiting on (yet another) swap, the replacement phone they sent me was obviously a refurb. The LED flash did not work.
So I have a stock, unrooted EE19 version in my hands right now. Not going to mess with it since I will be sending it right back next week.
Once the new one gets here...we'll see. If EE19 works well, I'll probably just root it and leave it alone for a while.
I like have Titanium Backup, and being able to freeze the bloatware. The rest of it is just "fun to play with" so I'll see how much I want to flash other ROMs after I've used it for a while.
They did mention that a new Samsung phone will be coming out later this year. Works for me, just in time for my Belief Project points to give me another phone upgrade...
