samsung message memory full what do i do

what do i do when my samsung galaxy ace says incoming message rejected message memory full
 
I had same issue, deleted the ENCORE file in the MISC folder, mine was over 6 gigs.... Now I have no idea what that file is for..... but so far my phone is okay, however the file did recreate itself.
