Help Samsung New Pc Studio Connection issue

Hello Guys,

I am planning to fractory reset my phone(to clear phone memory), For which I need to back up my contacts,...

I am able to connect it with Kies however it does not offers contacts back up option.

Recently, I downloaded Samsung New PC Studio which supports sync of phone contacts however it does not recognizes my phone which is still conncted to pc VIA USB. error: "an unregistered mobile phone connected. connection cannot proceed."

Kindly advise as I need to fix this issue ASAP.

As no one has replied to this post, I presume that no one else is facing this issue.

Anyways what I really want is to be able to sync my contacts.

1) I dont have MS Office installed to sync my contacts to it
2) Kies sync contacts with my gmail a/c which is online and its a pain to restore it.
3) New PC Studio from samsung wont detect my phone.

Kindly assist me as to how can i back up my contacts on my pc.

Hi guys

Im from Mexico (sorry my english) I have used the Android-Syn whit Outlook 2010 and its very helpfull to keep my contacts and meetings its works perfectly with windows 7.

I hope this information was helpfull fur you
 
I also want to sync the Ace with Outlook 2010, but could not connect my phone with the New PC Studio. Did you have any problem connecting and if so how did you resolve it?
 
NPS doesn't support the Galaxy Ace.. It supports the old ones not the smartphones.. i tried connecting it with NPS on and it woudln't work but another phone worked good with it.. so i think the problem lies with compatibility in the NPS and not your phone :)
 
Why don't you export your contacts to SD card? It's easy; just open your contacts and select Import/Export>Export to SD card and later you can import it the same way. Also, in the main window when your phone is connected to Kies; choose Import/Export and then choose Export to PC, it's available to Import/Export Contacts, Schedule, Memo, Photos, and Videos. Good luck!

go to android market... and install contact backup app... thats it
 
my keis is working okay (using cable connection) but it does not have SMS feature (unlike Nokia PC suite or any china phone suite) i need to use a phone suite in sending and receiving SMS (so i dont have to leave my laptop to answer/send SMS). i downloaded new pc studio but i cannot connect using cable connection. my questions -- how can i connect to NPS using cable connection; is there any other pc suite that i can use for samsung galaxy ace for sending/receiving SMS? thanks

Hi, I am experiencing the same problem :(. I had to go the painful route of copying my contacts from PC Studio to a folder on my PC then importing my contacts one by one to Kies. I am not yet completed and would like advise on an easier way if someone has it. The positive on this is that once I have all the contacts on my phone I will copy to the SD card for future.
 
Guys why don't you use the inbuilt import/export facility provided in the contacts app, just export your contacts to the sd card as also mentioned by M_Shaaban. Its way too simple than exporting again and again through kies and outlook.
And its safe there until unless your sd card is destroyed or you delete it yourself. The sd card content is not effected by factory reset, so its quite safe there.

Still if you want a bakup app for all your contacts, sms, calender, playlists etc, i would recommend MyBakup. It can regularly bakup/restore your data as per your requirements. I have been using it since the last 6 months.

And for rooted users, theres no better app than Titanium Backup.
