Help Samsung Note 2 woes

I was given this nifty little tablet. I had to DL the manual though. Even when connected to my home network (wifi) i get this message that states that google-play will no longer work with my browser. I have looked around the net and ended up getting some ransomware. Not having any luck at all.
Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Factory reset it... log back in.. do a check for system updates... let it update to the latest version of the operating system...

factory reset it again, then start the play store, and let it update everything...


Then you can start installing your own apps
