Kindly suggest some camera app which can fully utilize the camera functionality of samsung note 8.

Is there any way to get live focus feature for selfie mode .

The Google Pixel camera software port is a great addition to the Note 8. It's good at point and shoot shots and handles dynamic range better than the native camera.

I was under the impression that owners can turn off the automatic camera functions on all lenses and have total DSLR-like control over the photo... or is that only for the read camera?

Time has passed by and I just got the latest update for my Note 8. It has a camera that blows my mind. Except for the zoom this app offers more than my travel zoom can do. The new app offers slow motion, digital zoom, adjustable white balance, depth of field adjustment, ISO adjustment, center/multi zoom, and much more. Takes days to learn it all.
