Samsung Notes App, Need Help

I accidentally deleted a note in the Notes app that was passcode protected. I entered incorrect passcode and the document is nowhere to be found. Samsung support could not help me. Any help will be appreciated so much!

Any note that was deleted stays in the recycle bin for 15 days so that you can undelete it. If it's not there did you have the note app set to sync to your Samsung account? If so go into the app settings and select import and choose your Samsung account and see it is retrieved.

I don't have recycle bin..just settings and trash.

We are talking about the same app right? If so are you on the latest version?

Personally never used the app before so not sure when the recycle bin appeared, but maybe you have an older version that does not have this feature.

Yes, latest version. It was synced but the note isn't to be found.

Ah sucks. Sorry I could not be any more help, but it would appear that the note is gone. Cannot figure out why you don't have the recycle bin tho!

It's name is 'trash' not recycle bin. Strange. Thanks again very much.
