Samsung Rewards Packet (tecTiles)

Just received my Samsung Rewards Packet in the mail. The flip case is actually better than i had thought. I got a light blue one but will most likely end up buying a black one Works quite well.

They also sent a package of 5 TecTiles. Was wondering what others are using these for?

There are a lot of youtube vids that explain/review the tectiles. Here's one: Samsung TecTiles NFC Sticker Review - YouTube
Basically they are reprogrammable nfc chips that you can use to automate many functions of your phone. If you always turn your sound off before you go to bed, say, you could program one to do that automatically as soon as the phone is touched to it.

i just got mine also. same color. the back cover is alot better than the original one that came stock with the phone.im not fond of the color though..lol thinking of a little spray paint. lol

as for the tectiles. to me i think they are a little waist of time. but are fun to play with at first like a kid with a new toy. the newness wears off fast.

I agree about the color. Probably why Samsung sent them out free..........quite ugly. Also, the case disables the light indicator telling me i have outstanding messages!

As far as the Tectiles go, i have tried a few and for the most part they are a bit gimmicky.
The one i am using right now is the "go to bed" phone silencer. I programed the Tectile and have it next to my area where i charge the phone. I just put the phone on charge and touch the Tectile to silence it. This saves me about 8 seconds.....lol
