samsung s2 device not shown up in computer toshiba

i plug in samsung s2 in my laptop toshiba , but it doesnot show up in my comuter ,, please help ,,

It sounds like you are missing the Samsung USB drivers on your computer. Go to Samsung's website and find the most recent drivers available. Before downloading, check Windows' Control Panel > Programs and see if you have the same or an earlier version installed - either way, uninstall first before downloading and installing the new drivers. Barring a defective cable, that should get you up and running.
