samsung S3 freezing and turning off bu itself

I am visiting the USA, and have a Samsung S3 that has been working perfectly

It is roaming in the USA on ITT carrier

Applications and files occupy less than 12 GB with over 4 GB free

In the past week it started freezing once a day and escalated to 4 or 5 times a day,
also it started turning off completely, and or restarting by itself

is there an app that scan the system or dell or whatever?

I have no clue what ITT carrier is, but I would check to see maybe your device is not set to roam properly here in the USA, you might have to call your carrier to find out, thus the reason why it might be sluggish and rebooting. might be searching and not connecting properly. Are you able to make calls at all, do you have internet service on it, and which is your current carrier ??

Recently installed updates or apps could be causing the problem. It may not be related to roaming at all.
