Samsung s3 mini not receiving calls

I have a samsung s3 mini. Sometimes my phone does not ring. I just get an sms saying I have a missed call. When I then restart my phone it magically works fine. Until a few hours later. My aunt just got the same phone and she also has this problem.

I had the same problem with my wifes S3 mini. It seems that the sim unregisters itself from the network randomly. I removed the lock code from the sim card and the problem went away permanently. (Dont really see the point in sim lock codes anyway these days)

Its in menu settings security simcard lock. Enter the existing one and set it to none. The existing is 1234 by default.

Hope this helps. If not I suggest that you register on android forums and subscribe to the S3mini forum and ask the question again. In the proper forum (registered users) a 2 way dialogue will be possible. (You cant reply to this thread)
