Hi,
Model:Samsung Galaxy S3 I9300
Carrier: 2 Degrees (New Zealand)
I have today attempted my first root of my phone. The S3 battery drain was driving me mad so off I went.
I tried to follow instructions on how to do it but the ones I ended up following must have assumed the user had already installed CWM.
I therefore missed this step and went straight to attempting to install CM10 via odin3-v1.85. Once that had installed I realised my mistake and re-installed the stock firmware. I got into recover mode and, I did a factory reset and everything seemed to be fine. I then tried to reinstall CWM to resume my root, but once doing so i attempted to get into CWM recovery mode but instead I got the S3 boot screen with a red exclamation in the top corner.
Please advise how I can get rid of the exclamation mark and complete a successful root.
Thanks
