Help Samsung s3 vs HTC Desire 816

My Samsung s3 broke so I need to get a new phone. The Samsung s5 is still too expensive and I rather wait until the s6 comes out so I can get the s5 for cheaper.

In the meantime, should I get another Samsung s3? Or should I get HTC Desire 816? What's the pro and cons for both phones?

Both phones are for Virgin Mobile.
