samsung s4 photo sync

[Android Question]

I deleted photos from my gallery the other day and now realize they are back on my phone. So played around a little and discovered that they are syncing to some place. I didn't think I had a google+ account or a picasa album....but maybe I do. Can someone explain how this works on S4? Thanks!

Hello, welcome to Android Forums, I'm rabidhunter and I'm here to help. When you first set up your Android Phone, it asks for a GMail account or asks you to register. When you register for a GMail account, you also get access to Google+. The initial setup of your phone can be overwhelming, many people skip over the part where it asks if you want to sync your pictures with Google+.

You can disable the setting by following these instructions.

You should be able to delete the photos by deleting them through Google+. I hope that helps.
