Help Samsung S5 900I Custom Rom Camera Crash

Hey guys, Been having issues with my camera and custom roms, I tried to install Cyanogenmod a while back and it had issues then but I just uninstalled it thinking it was the rom, But now that I have tried to flash roms 3 different times with the same issue I am stumped on what this is, The camera refuses to register on the device, the camera app itself just straight up crashes, no other app can detect the camera either, Anyone know any way to fix this? Ive tried taking the battery out for 5 minutes then rebooting, Loading in safe mode, Clearing the data and cache etc etc. I have no idea what to do. I really appreciate any help possible.

I have tried a factory reset and Its only a few months old and it works perfectly fine in the stock rom.

Am on the latest CM13 Nightly, 20160715, release for CM13 and there are no camera issues. Might be worth giving it a go again.

I have, Atleast 6 to 7 times with CM13.

Does the camera work if you install, say, Snap Camera HDR - Trial, when you are on the CM13 ROM?

Are you using the correct CM13 ROM for your model. Can you post a link to it?

This is what i am using https://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=kltedv I am on the australian 900I model. And the camera doesnt work at all no app was letting it work.

Seems that this is an ongoing problem with the G900i model on CM12.1 and CM13 although it does not seem to affect all G900i models as this thread shows... Can't get the camera working

RR is an AOSP ROM that is based on CM13, as a lot of AOSP ROMs are. You could try switching to a TouchWiz based ROM instead.

What Roms would you recommend that are compatible with the Xposed Framework, Just wondering.
