Samsung S6 slow charging issues?

Hi guys.

Having a few strange issues with the charging of my S6 recently, I have had the phone for coming up 8 months now, and the last month or two I've encountered some issues with the charging.

I use mainly my fast charger, supplied with the phone.

Often enough the fast charge works, sometimes though I'll plug my charger in, come back 15 mins later. Seen my phone has only charged like 2 percent, And charge time is 5 hours and above (usually from a 12 percent starting point)

I usually only have to take out the charger and put it back in again and triggers the fast charge.

Is their a fault here with my phone, or is this a common bug that some of you have come across?

P.S it also happens with my partners S5 charger
 
Of course it's the phone, you've tried 2 different chargers, and the S6 is.... not great.

It's definitely the phone.
 
This weekend have experienced the same kind of thing, but using a normal Samsung charger (the one still in my overnight bag for a Note 2).

3 times each day it spent multiple hours plugged into the wall, and other times with a powerbank dangling off it's rear end, and still barely made it through the weekend.

I dislike the phone and don't do much with it, but being stuck in a hotel I fiddled around a bit - and realized how entirely useless this POS really is.
 
Everytime I've experience slow charges. It's because of the cable. I never get 8 months out of the same cable.

The round ones don't last for nothing. The flat wider ones will usually get SOME weeks out of them.
