trying see if it possible to add apps to Samsung Android2.3.5 model number sch-r680 us cellular has Amazon app Store won't work,has no Google play store, triedd download it won't everything say must have sd card tried to add Facebook book using a small gb sd card wouldn't work then accidentally broke sd cards if buy big gb sd card can download anything to this phone won't even let me save pictures

That's a very, very dated phone running an unsupported, out-of-date version of Android. Also, support for apps and the services they rely upon will be limited to none. The smartphone industry and the Internet itself has simply moved on past a phone that old.
