Hello and welcome to Android Forums! 
You may need to update your drivers. If you download and install the latest version of Kies from the Samsung website, it will include the drivers. Or, you can go to menu>settings>wireless & networks> usb utilities and enable storage mode. Then your phone should mount your PC as removable storage.
