Samsung Stratosphere Help

Hello,
I just got a Samsung Stratosphere..
And i cant log out of my Gmail Account.. Can anyone help me please?:confused:
I got my contacts trasfered, and now under the contacts it has a "G"
Like for gmail

If you go to gmail through google.com instead of the gmail app you can click on your name at the bottom to log out.
(Google homepage> more>apps> gmail).
