Tab 2 was hotspotted to my android phone and alerted me to a virus. I turned phone and tab off. How do I get rid of virus.
 
It's unlikely you have a virus, but if it helps your peace of mind, install and scan with Lookout. If your phone supplying the hotspot is rooted, the tab likely detected the presence of the root exploit (which does behave like malware, except it's benign).
