Despite being proven that the Galaxy S8's iris scanner is vulnerable to being fooled, Samsung supposedly has plans to enable it for authorizing financial transactions. The company will hold trials in South Korea to start, and if things are successful they may presumably launch it in other Samsung Pay markets.
